GESCHICHTEDDer Agrotourismus Greppabovi verdankt seinen Namen der Anhöhe, auf der er Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts errichtet wurde. An diesem Ort war es in der Tat Gewohnheit, die Rinder auf die Weide zu treiben, die dazu bestimmt waren, das Land zu bearbeiten, bevor die Landwirtinnen kamen. Heute wird das Gebäude nach fachgerechter Renovierung mit neuem Leben erfüllt, indem es der Beherbergung von Gästen bestimmt wurde. Der Agrotourismus Greppabovi ist integrierter Teil des Landguts Pietratonda , entstanden 1970 nach der Schließung der Bergbautätigkeit , von der noch heute die Anlagen zur Kieselsandverarbeitung zu sehen sind. Das Landgut Pietratonda ist aus naturtechnischen Gesichtspunkten ein Ort der Exzellenz. Es ist Teil der Fauna-Oase Monte Leoni und ist mit seiner Lage auf mehr als 700 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel der höchste Punkt des Betriebes. Im Inneren des Landguts befindet sich ferner eine Ausgrabungsstätte von bedeutender Wichtigkeit; es handelt sich hierbei um eine original römische Thermalstruktur. GASTLICHKEIT Jedes Zimmer ist mit privatem Badezimmer mit Dusche, Heizung und Klimaanlage (jeweils autonom) ausgestattet. Im Gemeinschaftsraum steht ein Fernseher mit Satellitenprogrammen zur Verfügung. Außerdem stehen unseren Gästen zwei Küchen zur Verfügung, von denen sich eine im 1. Stock und eine im Erdgeschoss befinden. Auf Anfragen stellen wir für unsere kleinsten Gäste ein Babybett zur Verfügung. The property is housed in a late 19th century building surrounded by a garden with outdoor swimming pool and a pine and cypress wood. An arched lounge with an original brick floor, fireplace and reading corner, is at guests' disposal to relax or dine. Nutzerurteil: 8.7 Sand dunes and thick pine-woods are only 2 km away from Quercesecca, one of the most ancient farms in Maremma Grossetana, close the beaches of Marina di Grosseto. A long pine avenue leads to Fattoria and Podere Umberto, two large brick-worked and stoned houses, where guests are accommodated in comfortable apartments, surrounded by wide green areas equipped with tables and chairs, playground (swing and slide), barbecue. Further from the farm's centre but closer to the seaside there are the Casetta, the Glicine and the Rosmarino, three small detached cottages, ideal to enjoy privacy (located near the street to the seaside). Quercesecca is an ideal start point for people loving nature and sports: the bike track connecting Marina di Grosseto to Grosseto; a riding-ground (Cavallo Natura) 1 km away; the ports of Marina di Grosseto and Castiglione della Pescaia, ideal shelters for sailing boats; the natural parks Diaccia Botrona (10 km far away) and Parco dell'Uccellina (24 km. far away). Culture and nature offer a large choice of daily sightseeing: archaeological sites (Roselle, Vetulonia, Sovana), ancient medieval villages in the hinterland ( Massa Marittima , Saturnia and Pitigliano), archaeological museums (Grosseto and Cosa). Further to that, it's very easy to reach Siena (75 km away) and Florence (145 km away). The check-in of arrivals at Quercesecca will be carried out at the farm Razza del Casalone. |
